Kitco prices shows a sharp decline, from yesterday's NY closing rate at $1715.00/Oz and today morning at $1676.90/Oz. London Gold Fixing was $1708.25/Oz in the morning and $1685.00/Oz in the evening yesterday. The reasons attributed are, signs of U.S. job growth, global economic growth and switching over to dollar investments.

Elsewhere in India, all cities showed downward trend, Mumbai price dropped from Rs.3036 to Rs.3012 per gram, Delhi price dropped from Rs.3020 to Rs.3000, Chennai price came down from Rs.2912 to Rs.2890, Bangalore from Rs.2910 to Rs.2885 and Hyderabad price dropped from Rs.2912 to Rs.2890 (per gram 22Ct prices).
